West Jordan Symphony celebrated its 31st annual Handel’s Messiah Community Sing-Along at the Viridian Event Center, welcoming singers and audiences from across the region. This cherished tradition continues to grow through community participation, outstanding volunteer soloists, and a shared love of timeless music.

Our final Exploring Art workshop of 2025 featured lively monoprinting with gel plates, bringing our largest group of participants this year. Artists of all ages experimented with color, texture, and playful techniques to create unique prints. Exploring Art returns in late spring 2026—but until then, instructor Michael Goodman reminds us to “Commit Acts of Art Every Day!”

This year’s Winter Wonderland showcased the Jazz Band, Community Band, Mountain West Chorale, Symphony, and the Sky Island Quartet, who made their West Jordan debut. After a lively intermission with Santa, the evening continued with choral music, a chamber selection, and a Nutcracker finale. The Symphony also announced a new partnership with the Sky Island Quartet.

Saturday night brought an uplifting start to the season as West Jordan Jazz Band presented their fall concert. The atmosphere was bright and welcoming, and the music quickly set a confident and engaging tone. From the opening piece to the final chord, the ensemble played with a sense of connection that made the evening feel both lively and inviting.

Meet more than 50 Utah authors, enjoy live readings, panels, and book signings, This year, we also want to take a moment to reflect on what it means to be an audience member.
