2. CASWJ Is a Separate Organization

This is a CASWJ policy and is not a City of West Jordan privacy notice or terms of use. CASWJ does not adopt the City's governmental records procedures, privacy policies, or public records requirements merely because CASWJ works with the City or provides arts programming within West Jordan.

CASWJ may collaborate with the City of West Jordan and other governmental entities, nonprofit organizations, schools, venues, businesses, funders, and community partners. Information provided to another organization may become subject to that organization's own privacy, recordkeeping, public records, or disclosure requirements.

14. Your Choices and Withdrawing Consent
When an individual voluntarily provides personal information to CASWJ for a particular purpose, CASWJ may use that information as reasonably necessary to provide the requested service or carry out the purpose for which the information was submitted.

Where consent is the basis for an optional communication or use of information, an individual may withdraw that consent.

For example, individuals may unsubscribe from general promotional email communications using the unsubscribe option included in applicable messages.

Individuals may also contact CASWJ to request that the organization discontinue an optional use of their personal information by emailing:

Withdrawal of consent does not necessarily require CASWJ to delete information that must reasonably be retained for financial, legal, safety, contractual, grant, insurance, administrative, historical, or other legitimate organizational purposes.

Withdrawal of consent also may not prevent CASWJ from sending communications reasonably necessary to administer an active registration, ticket transaction, volunteer assignment, ensemble participation, production, program, donation, contract, or other existing relationship.

This policy does not replace a separate media release or participation agreement applicable to a specific program.

19. Information Shared with Governmental or Community Partners

CASWJ will make reasonable efforts to limit personally identifiable information provided to partners to information reasonably necessary for the applicable purpose.

Artwork, music, manuscripts, scripts, photographs, compositions, performances, recordings, designs, or other creative works may be owned by individual artists, authors, performers, licensors, publishers, or other rights holders.
