West Jordan Art in the Park 2024- Artist Applications

West Jordan is taking a bold step towards fostering the arts within its community with the creation of a new public art program. Building upon the foundation of West Jordan Arts, the Cultural Arts Society of West Jordan, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, has been established to bring a diverse range of artistic experiences to the west side of the Salt Lake Valley. From performing arts to musical arts, visual arts to literary arts, the city is dedicated to enriching the lives of its residents with a vibrant cultural tapestry.

GENERAL INFORMATION

ABOUT THE SHOW:

This year, we're inviting 1st round juried visual artists to showcase their talents. Applications for all media will be accepted through February 1st, 2024, or until all available spaces are filled.

Location: Veterans Memorial Park, West Jordan, UT 84084

Event Date: Saturday, April 27, 2024, from 11 am to 4 pm

To accommodate our growing West Jordan Visual Arts community, we've chosen the picturesque West Jordan Veterans Memorial Park as our event venue. On April 27, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., this park will transform into a hub of artistic expression. Alongside artist booths, we've curated an inviting live performance stage, an area for delectable culinary delights, fun-filled kids ARTivities, and live artist demos. We're also excited to welcome local crafters to be a part of this artistic celebration.

Join the Art Movement

We're passionate about promoting this event and have devised strategies to attract discerning, art-educated buyers. Throughout March, we will be generating daily social media highlights featuring artists, performers, and event updates to create buzz and excitement. With the rapid growth of Salt Lake County and West Jordan's strong artistic connections, our event is poised to become the premier kickoff to the summer arts festivals in the state.
