Exploring Art: Monoprinting with Gel Plates — Class Recap

Our final Exploring Art workshop of 2025 took place on November 21st and featured one of our most playful and expressive mediums yet: Monoprinting with Gel Plates. Participants explored layered textures, bold shapes, and vibrant color palettes to create one-of-a-kind prints. The hands-on nature of the technique encouraged creativity and experimentation, making it accessible and enjoyable for artists of all ages and skill levels.

This session became our most-attended Exploring Art class of the year, reflecting the growing enthusiasm for community art opportunities and the supportive, welcoming environment these workshops provide.

We’re grateful to everyone who joined us throughout 2025. Exploring Art will return in late spring 2026, continuing through the fall with new techniques, instructors, and opportunities to connect through creative expression.

Until then, instructor Michael Goodman encourages everyone to “Commit Acts of Art Every Day!”
