Julie is a full-time mixed media and epoxy resin artist based in Salt Lake City, Utah where she lives with her husband of 32 years and is the proud stepmom and grandma to two granddaughters who live in Arizona. Prior to living in Utah, she lived in Palm Springs, California for 7 years where she worked at an Art Gallery selling many pieces of fine art created by predominantly Utah-based artists as well as some internationally known artists. Her lifelong creative passion has morphed from drawing portraits of people and animals and architectural interior renderings to designing custom area rugs, creating and selling gourmet cakes & candies, making jewelry and resin snowflake ornaments to painting and sculpting larger, 3D work using epoxy resin, paints, wire, lighting, and other mixed media. She also resurfaces countertops, furniture, walls, and other décor using epoxy resin. She debuted her current art style in 2016 at a juried art group show at the National Adobe building in Lehi, Utah. After the show, Adobe purchased her entry where it is now on permanent display. Her work has been purchased and collected by 100’s of people throughout the world via private collectors, juried art shows, festivals, and galleries as well as through sales at a previous boutique at the Salt Lake International Airport.
