Artist Biography

Heather Olsen is an accomplished contemporary realistic artist from Salt Lake City, UT, known for her vibrant and emotionally resonant oil paintings. She honed her artistic skills through intensive apprenticeships at the Hein Atelier and the Bridge Academy of Art, and earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Utah. With a focus on capturing the emotions and essence of her subject matter, Heather explores a diverse range of subjects in her work. Her portfolio encompasses figurative and animal art, narrative pieces, landscapes, still life, and more, showcasing her versatility and mastery of various artistic genres.

Heather has exhibited her artwork in galleries and museums internationally, and gained global recognition as she competed and won in prestigious worldwide competitions such as Art Battle and Portrait Society of America. Locally, her work has been featured in collaborations with the Sundance Film Festival, Intermountain Healthcare, and Utah State Legislature, among others, earning widespread recognition and media coverage.
